Jenny Tuazon
Digital Campaigns, Organising, and Communications Specialist
About Me
I’m a digital communications, campaigns, and organising specialist with over a decade of experience helping nonprofits build movements, engage supporters, and drive impact on the issues that matter most. My work has spanned global climate justice mobilisations, coalition support, and digital strategies that connect people to powerful campaigns.I’ve led digital campaigns with organisations like Greenpeace and 350.org, where I developed strategies, managed global mobilisations, and trained teams to use digital tools for storytelling, supporter engagement, and collective action. I thrive at the intersection of creativity and strategy, crafting content and campaigns that are not only compelling, but also grounded in movement-building and justice.Beyond strategy, I’m passionate about capacity building and collaboration – supporting teams and partners to grow their skills, align around shared goals, and create campaigns that resonate across borders. At the heart of my work is a belief in the power of people: when communities are equipped with the right tools, stories, and strategies, they can shift narratives, challenge power, and win lasting change.
Work Samples
These projects showcase my work in digital communications, campaigns, and organising – from global mobilisations and supporter engagement to narrative change and data-informed strategy. Each reflects my approach to turning strategy into meaningful action that strengthens movements and drives real-world impact.
Led a regional media landscape study for GAIA and Break Free From Plastic, analysing how waste and plastics issues are covered across South and Southeast Asia. The research identified key journalists, media outlets, and narrative trends, providing strategic recommendations that strengthened communications planning, media engagement, and campaign positioning across the region.

Go Clean ICBC is a global network of organizations opposed to ICBC’s coal finance. I led the communications and digital working group of this coalition, which produced the campaign's integrated communications and digital strategy and contributed to movements like StopEACOP in demanding that the Chinese bank stop financing dirty fossil fuels overseas.

I led the development, launch, media and network outreach of the petition platform, bataris.org.ph, which at the time of its launch garnered 250,000+ signatures from the petition campaign my team also helped kickstart and target the proponents of an underwater resort project proposal in the pristine waters of Palawan, the Philippines’ last ecological frontier. The proposed project was stopped as soon as we had it put on national and international media spotlights, e.g. Mashable, BBC, Guardian.

I design and facilitate upskilling initiatives through online training series and webinars to strengthen colleagues’ and volunteers’ skills in digital campaigning and organising. I also serve as a resource speaker for allies, sharing expertise in both online and in-person workshops, conferences, and gatherings.
